We understand the intersection of classy and thrifty.
The staff at TCG has a multitude of successful accomplishments that lend themselves to handling your logistic and production needs. We are seasoned in producing intimate receptions, grand galas, and complex multi-day celebrations and conferences. Below are a couple of examples for your perusal.
TCG staff served as the Executive Director and President for the Illinois Inaugural Committee 2011. In these rolls, the staff & their teams raised the money, handled the logistics and production, and executed a sequence of meet and greets, receptions, formal ceremonies, and the Inaugural Ball – all over a two day period honoring Illinois’ newly elected constitutional officers. TCG’s meticulous attention to detail resulted in the events being under budget, enabling the Committee to donate the remaining funds to the Military Family Relief Fund. Bonus.
Over the course of the last decade, TCG staff has handled countless events for Governors, U.S. Senators, and legislative leaders. These included the logistics, production, and advance for international, national, and local trips; rallies with President Obama, Vice President Biden, and President Bill Clinton; consecutive news conferences within multiple day periods involving planes, trains, and pick-up trucks; and numerous other large scale events.
TCG staff has produced every political event and fundraiser for Illinois’ Governor, Pat Quinn, from 2008-2011.
Beelzebub is an annual large scale Halloween event produced by TCG for charity, beginning in 2008. TCG created the concept for the successful charity event. The event is somewhat of a spectacle, boasting performances by a theatre company, an internationally acclaimed DJ, and many other memorable experiences for its more than 1,200 annual attendees.
From 1996-1997, TCG’s President, David Rosen, handled the logistics and production for all of the fundraising events for President Bill Clinton, then First Lady Hilary Clinton, Vice President Al Gore, and the Vice President’s wife, Tipper Gore.
David Rosen, TCG’s President, served as the Director of VIP Operations for the international modern and contemporary art exposition, Art Chicago. TCG single handedly created and implemented an exclusive hospitality program that catered to the world’s most active art collectors. 50,000 people typically attend Art Chicago.
Some additional noteworthy examples include: a weekend retreat for Vice President Al Gore, a Hollywood Salute to President Bill Clinton, the Midwest Policy Conference for the Democratic Governors Association, the grand opening gala of Lowe’s Miami Hotel benefitting the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and the Illinois Dialogue on Poverty.
“I was extremely pleased with the Inaugural events. TCG produced a spectacular Inaugural weekend that included more than 15,000 attendees. And, completed the project under budget”
- Governor Pat Quinn, Illinois
